I finally allowed my twin daughters to have some coffee. Yes, I am weird like that. I've never allowed them to drink coffee before today. I just don't like coffee drinking kids. It doesn't sound right. They have their own drinks and we grown ups have our own. But since they're already 14, I've decided it's time.
I remember when I was their age I was coming home at 3am (or sometimes not at all) crawling up the stairs to my room above our auto shop (which looked cool by the way, it didn't look nasty like how it sounds), dead drunk and still wearing my school uniform. So I thought, them drinking coffee is better than them drinking whatever I was drinking then.
So after school, off to Starbucks we went.
Annikka got hot chocolate because even if she was bigger than her sisters, she's just 11. So, no matter how she insisted and how much she argued with me, she still got what she got.
Kayla got creme brulee latte and Ayra got peppermint latte and I got Egg Nog latte which was really bad by the way and I loove Egg Nog that I even bought Egg Nog ice cream last night.
So anyways, Kayla loved pretending to be a grown up while drinking her coffee but kept complaining how it wasn't really how she expected it to taste like. Ayra doesn't say much so of course, she was fine with what she got but didn't finish it and her half empty cup ( or half full) is still sitting on our dining table as I write this.

| And no, River didn't get any. Though he stole a sip (or two) from my pumpkin spice latte yesterday and said 'yummy' afterwards. |
So there you go, I don't think they will bug me anytime soon to get them some coffee or to make them some for breakfast.
