A ride down memory lane.

We went to the carnival tonight. It's an annual thing, only 3 days every year. This was my first, the twin's second. It was an old fashioned carnival. It reminded me of the ones I go to in the Philippines when I was growing up. I remember I used to go with my yayas to the annual carnival in the province. And I used to be so amazed at the crab man or the mermaids and I totally believed that they were real though it was so obvious that the mermaid only had a costume on.I've always been gullible, look what happened to me. lol.

I once rode on the Horror train and one of the ghosts there sat next to me and scratched my arm. When the train came out of the gate, I jumped off of it and my skirt ripped open and I was there on the ground crying with my snoopy undies showing. I think that did it for me. Now, I am scarred for life. Rides now terrify me. Even the Alice in Wonderland ride in Disneyland freaked me out. Even the kiddie boat ride in Santa Monica Pier almost brought me to tears and we ended up getting off of it even before it was supposed to end. I know for a fact that even if someone pays me a million dollars I wouldn't dare ride on a roller coaster. Call me oa but what can I do? Oh and after watching Final Destination 2, that made it worse!

Back to the carnival, shit the food is so expensive! Totally not worth it but still I ended up eating so much and now I'm having a terrible heart burn as I'm writing this.

There were lots of kids with raging hormones, making out like it's the end of the world. Sorry but I don't think I've ever kissed anyone in public before. Hmmm, wait, I don't know, let me take that back. But still, not as young as those kids there. Plus I was probably drunk but these kids are sober. So I'm excused yeah? Ok, next topic.

I didn't have my camera, I only used my cellphone camera but I love the way the photos turned out.

River is such a rockstar, he heard a live rock band playing by the Farmer's Market when Rex was eating and he demanded to be unstrapped from the stroller and he just left us and walked towards the alley where the band was playing. He loves music so much like no other 3 year old! Specially live music. Hmmm, I wonder which parent he got that from.

I ended up spending about $46. Not bad for 8 people. Will I be back next year? I don't think so but ask me again after this heart burn goes away.
Goodnight my Facebook friends.
